a harley can go fast but no where near as fast as a j*p race bike

they lack acceleration and also they top out not even close to the j**s

As far as street legal bikes go, the answer is no. A Harley can go faster than your average car but they don't have the handling ability to safely go as fast as the Japanese bikes nor will the engines allow them to.

I don't know what the top speed of a Harley is but those others like Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha super bikes can go as fast as 164 mph.

if you drop the coin to get a Harley, you want to drive slow enough so everyone can see you on it & drool in envy.

BUT THE "COOLNESS" FACTOR, WAY MAKES UP FOR IT.

Harley did make a full on factory XR1000 about 15 years back.

It was very very fast , but lacked backing to take it any further. Scott Ru$$ell and DuHamel were its best riders.
