  1. If they are about the same size it shouldn't be too much of a problem. There will be a few bouts of sparing to start with, but after that they should calm down unless one or the other is truly evil. That can happen.


  2. No... cichlids are not peacfull fish they are aggressive by nature, and yes they can be in the same tank but they will fight now and again.
