Can a NVIDIA GeForce2 GTS/GeForce2 Pro video card run DirectX 8?

I've been trying to get a game called Team Fortress 2, and I've finally got enough money to get it, but I need to know if my video card can run it.

Everything else is good, as in I have enough RAM and stuff.

So, my question is, can my video card run DirectX 8?
