If you have a neighbor that rents their house out, and they have let a noisy renter live there... is there anything the neighborhood can do? Say they have parties late at night and everyone within earshot has told them to stop, they don't, so the whole place wants them gone. Can they get them kicked out if the landlord won't do it?

  1. No. Just call the Police.

  2. Silly question.....if they are breaking "quiet enjoyment" laws, your recourse is to call the police, not band together into a vigilante group.

  3. Take up a fund, hire a lawyer, present it to a court.  Failure to follow Due Process as outlined by the 4th Amendment may well provide you with a glaring example of the 2nd Amendment.

  4. The neighbors can call the police for "disturbance of peace". Document every time the police is called, time and date, as well as the reason.

The neighbors can also complain to the tenants' landlord to see what can be done.

  5. We had the same problem. Owner of house said they paid their rent on time. So, every time they got real loud or would start fighting, I called the cops. I also called the owner, whether it was 10pm or 4am. These people were seriously bad renters. The owner had them out within the month.

  6. No but you can call the cops for laod parties at a certain time of night as there are city and county ordinances that prevent such a thing!
