  1. I've heard of people getting "connected" to other people who've died through transplants...but not from a PC. But , if statues etc can be "possessed"..why not  a computer. But, the guy is still alive, I assume. I think when you're around people and their belongings...you "pick it up" because you admire them or have an interest in them and what they do. I'm getting better at football..because I've been watching it with my son. I even got really interested in the Superbowl tonight (last night). I think things DO "rub off" on us...at least I've heard that expression. I DO understand what you mean..and I think it  DOES happen...but I'm not sure why. Maybe it was his computer that was so smart..not him. Hope he doesn't lose HIS intelligence without his computer! lolAnyway..I think you should take advantage of this opportunity to get smarter...computer or not!

PS..I'm watching "The Robe" right now. They believe that the robe Jesus wore has "magical " powers. Just thought the connection with your question was "weird"...a "happy coincidence"! lol (I think it's called "serendipity".)

  2. Interesting question.  I don't have any knowledge, nor an opinion on the subject, but I think you might have noticed something with a core of truth that's gone neglected or unnoticed.

Nobody knows enough about such things to justify having an opinion.  Anyone who has one would just be basing it on whatever cage he's drawn around himself to protect his thinking processes.

  3. There is nothing known in physical science, physiology or neurology to account for that. I would say that its more more likely to be coincidence, and since you already knew the student you got it from, power of suggestion also probably played a role.
