Can a Person Buy a RADAR?

A Radar. Like the ones police use to catch people speeding. Is it legal? Where would one be able to buy one?

People involved in racing of various kinds, including model airplane racing use radar. As do tennis and baseball facilities. They're not going to be as sophisticated and, of course, don't have such things as separate indicators for patrol speed. You can see a bunch of them and traffic radar at radarguns.com

There are no laws prohibiting someone from possessing a radar gun. You can do a search of "police radar" to find online vendors, or try this link http://www.galls.com/ and type "radar" in the search box

If you've got the money, there is nothing to prohibit you from buying, owning and using one.

You can buy a radar gun for personal use.  Many baseball teams, from little league up to the majors, use radar guns to see how fast a pitcher is throwing.
