Can a Person get More than one Degree?

Like Bach in Technology

then a Bach in Interior Design

the Masters in Technology

-Ok Interior Design and Technology are so much in a different field

but would that be possible?

  3. Yes, a person can usually have more than one major and therefore get more than one degree. However, if the degrees do not share courses, you might end up being in school for longer than anticipated.

  9. You can get as many degrees as you want. I have 2 asociates , a bachelors and almost completed my maters.  A lot of people get a major and minor degree at the same time.

  12. Yes, I know a person that has a degree in Music and Performance. and then  went on the get another Degree in Computer Science, with a Masters Degree now. Speak with a counselor and see what they think of  the Other Degree  that you are seeking?

  13. Let's see. Right now I hold a BFA, am working on a BA in Languages, will be applying to Graduate School next Spring to get an MS in Secondary Education and then will need a Masters in French. So when I am done, that will be Four. So, yes.

    You might not be able to get 2 business degrees or 2 engineering degrees if they are too similar, but different degrees or upgrading previous ones (BA to masters), yes definately.

  15. yes you can!! you can apply for dual majors, or study one, and then study another (one at a time)

  17. Certainly - it happens all the time.  You can double major and earn two Bachelor's degrees, go back for a new degree, go on for a graduate level Master's degree, and then continue to the PhD level!

  18. Yes. You can study for more than one at a time, or do them separately. The Masters would, of course, come after the Bachelor. In some fields, you can get a BA, MA, and a Ph.D. (In English, for example.) Many universities prefer to hire someone with a Ph.D.  

  19. yes but it can lead to staying a lot longer in school if it's not planned out right. Just plan accordingly. It's hard work but well worth it.  

  20. Of course. The road to a doctorate is paved with a Bachelors and Masters degree.
