So can one of those annoying Rick Roll sites that pop up and move around the screen (you have to press ctrl+alt+delete to get rid of them) have a virus. A few days ago, when i booted up my computer it said new hardware or software was installed and Windows may have been shutdown illegally so it gives me options of starting in Safe mode, With most recent settings that worked, etc. So i tried all of them and it shows the XP loading screen with the blue bar going across and for a split second a blue screen pops up with numbers and it goes back to the screen asking me to start in Safe Mode. So i cleared my HDD and got my recovery CD and now my whole hard drive is wiped out and my computer looks like I just bought it (Its even letting me get McAfee free for another 30 days). I hadn't downloaded anything recently before the computer starting flipping out but I did remember that I clicked on a link to watch a video but it opened a Rick Roll website. So could it have given my computer a virus.
