Can a Rover be imported to the US?

Rover never exported cars to the US. I want to know if one can be specially imported.

  1. Rover certainly has exported to the U.S.  During the 60s and early 70s, there was the Rover TC-2000.  It didn't do very well and earned a reputation for being unreliable.  In the late 80s/early 90s,  Rover came back to the U.S. with the Sterling which was largely a rebadged Acura Legend.  It suffered the same fate as its predecessor.  So, yes, Rovers used to be sold in the U.S.


  2. You  need to contact the manufactuer. Or take a look at the US Government's website about " importing cars into the USA " Do a google to find that .

    PS Rovers WERE imported into Canada for about 20 years.

  3. Why would you want a Rover in the first place, never mind import and modify one? And no, it could probably no longer be modified (if you mean to right hand drive) due to the liquidisation of the company.
