Can a Sony Handycam with a hard drive transfer it's stored video to an Ipod Classic?

  1. iPod only supports videos in mp4, H2.64 video format. If not, you may try some third party software. There are some free video converters for iPod, such as Videora, SUPER. They are free, but always do the work without the good performce. Nowadays, there are so many similar not free ipod converteres in the market. You should try your best to choose the best one. I recommend Cucusoft DVD to iPod Video Suite to convert DVD movie and convert videos in any format to iPod. It is the fastest converter I have used. You can download this software free from here

  2. You'd have to go via a PC, which I assume defeats the objective. If you need extra storage, look for OTG (On The Go) disk drives.
