  3. It would be preferable to boil the water before drinking; especially the Borewell water. Cauvery water is better, I presume, although not 100% safe, to be frank.

  6. well, you can or cannot is left to you. but i am sure it is safe. given that being in US ( a cleaner place comparatively), you may not have very high immunity. I am from US and have traveled to Bangalore many times for business. I usually drink Bottled water when traveling in India, but if i am at a good restaurant, i do drink normal water. But it is ok.. you can drink and still be alive.. there are thousands of people drinking that water.

  8. Its the best to stick to purified water bottles. Tap water is a strict NO NO.
