  1. The USA does not limit where it's citizens can invest but each country is free to make rules about who can invest in their stock market.

  2. No, there are no retrictions. Just some guidelines (at best).

And I actually recommend people do invest out of USA assests because there is nothing to be gain there. The US is going to be hard soon economically.

The inflating of the dollar and artificially low intrest rates will be the death of the country. And there's no coming back too. We don't the infrastructure to start producing. All we do is consume. Buy, buy, buy. And the credit-based economy is a dead in road. So in short USA is a burden on the global economy. We didn't keep our end of the deal with Bretton Woods agreement.

This is a really good site to get involve in with foreign stock:

    Europac.net

  3. Of course you can. Why do you think we have international stock?

  4. There are ways to indirectly invest internationally with mutual funds and ETF's.  Many foreign stocks are listed on US exchanges or have american depository receipts (ADR) listed on US exchanges (which sometimes are a multiple of more than one share of the foreign stock).

Or there are brokers that can allow you to trade foreign markets directly (like interactivebrokers.com).  However, you have to be aware of currency exchange rates, which makes your investments more difficult to follow.  Company data may also be limited, or in a different currency.

  5. DO NOT INVEST IN THE $.

Dont you watch the news? The dollar is dead and all the worlds major banks are expecting stock crash in the next 3 months.... Deppresion will be upon america soon.

Invest in Gold and silver.... Dont invest in paper.
