  1. US citizens (born anywhere), who are now residents of PR can tramit the US Passports to travel to anywhere in the world where US Passports are accepted.

Federal goverment has a location in Plaza Las Americas (Hato Rey, San Juan PR)  to process the required documentation to get the US passport.

  2. Yes, is easy just go to any Postal Office and ask for the documents.

  3. YES U CAN GET ONE THERE.

  4. YES... just go to the U.S. Consulate in San Juan and apply for your passport... just like you would do if you were living in any foreign country.

For years, I never even HAD a passport that was issued inside the U.S.... it's really no big deal.

  5. If Puerto rRico is your home and that is the address you use for your mail...then , yes, you can get your passport there.  If your home is in CA, and you are just visiting in Puerto Rico, then the answer would be no.

  6. i believe you can get it in PR
