  1. No, this isn't possible.  Yahoo Groups doesn't allow the addresses @yahoogroups.com as a member.

The members who want to join the other group should just join the other group.  If everyone is interested in the messages, someone could forward them from their email to the other group.

  2. NO it is not possible.

The first person who answered must be a member of both groups (per his example).

You CANNOT send an email from one group directly to another group! Nor can you send email to a group using an address that was not used when you subscribed to the group.

Nor can you subscribe to a group using a group email address. The email must be verifiable within you Yahoo! ID. The Yahoo! ID verification sends the email address a verification request. If the request is not responded to, you cannot add it to your ID.

You can REFERENCE another group in your description or on the "Related Link" at the bottom (under Group Email Addresses).

  3. Yes, a yahoo! group can be a member of another Yahoo Group,  let me give you an example :-

I am a member of Naijapolitics@yahoogroups.com and this yahoo group is a member of another yahoo group "chatafrik@yahoogroup.com"  and so by extention, I also receive mails from chatafrik@yahoogroups.com
