Can a arts student get a jobs as accountant if he knows tally?

As per my views he will be having a job . as companies are today in more numbers there ie perspective jobs in the market . But so far his background is concerned it wont provide him the level of satisfaction . although he only knows the tally which is not the primary requirement . basic need is commerce background which company looks for . He may get the job for his bread .
