I've been feeding him/her mini ones but I've seen some vids on youtube and they seem fine with them. What do you think?

  1. they can... but that doesnt mean they should. the casing or shell of the mealworm its hard to digest, so mealworms should only really be fed to adult leos, to avoid the rist of impaction. also feeding crickets as a good idea cuz it gets the leo into the habit of hunting for its food, which is more natural, better exercise and plain fun to watch, i spend ages watching mine hunt. crickets are also more nutritious when properly gutloaded. try mixing up your leos diet to include the crickets.

  2. i go with carlos d

  3. if anything that is bigger than your geckos head you shouldnt feed it that. just stick to the smaller bugs while he is a baby

  4. nope they are way to big and hard for them to eat, only small crickets for now

  5. They don't like eatting things that are too big.. just like you you have to bite little pieces of a big food item to be  able to chew it so start of with smaller ones and work your way up... you can also talk to your supplyer and ask what they recommend
