i really want to be a dentist but fear that i will not make it to graduate school. I know it requires a bachelor in a science field but i also want to get an aas in dental hygiene to fall back against. i consider doing the 2 yr then a ba in biology but when i make it to grad school, i waste 2 yrs for nothing and if i don't make it, the ba is pointless. (over here, biology degree is nothing now w/o a master or ph.D) so i don't know what to do now. I'm starting senior year high school and yet to apply to colleges and talk to their admission counselor. What should I do? Im considering of dropping the whole dental hygiene because it's irrelevent to my ultimate goal..? Someone answer my question and/or advise me in the direction i should take?
