  1. Under current securization act bank can file criminal complaint.


  2. Unless there was blatant fraud, they would just send the person to a collections agency instead of filing a police report.  

  3. No but they will try to recover it, If you hid all the information of your they will send you a Saman through court and a warrent will issue. But its depend upon your heavey outstandings. to being a Bankrupt you need to do a balance transfer or pay the minimum ammount.

    Otherwise you may be into CIBIL. Means in future you may not apply for another Credit card or loan.

    You're a defulter.

In India, none payment of credit card bill means recovery process by the bank/financial institute which is a civil case not criminal so the question of police coming in the picture doesn't arise, provided no bank cheque payment made has been at any time bounced by virtue of insufficient fund, then only it becomes a case of fraud/cheating covered under section 420 of Indian Penal Code & section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act where a Police can be informed & a criminal charge sheet be filed in the court against the person who issued such bank cheque which bounced for insufficient funds in order to settle of the credit card bill.

  6. my dear fren its all depend upon the amount. if it small then no pblm but if amount is very much then bank can apply different source rather than police case.

    this amount directly go the hard recovery.

    bank can not file a police case on this.

  7. Not if its simply  a case that the bill wasn't paid.

    But if you fraudulently fot the card, then yes.

  10. If there is fraud in the use of the credit card, a case can be charged.  If not, only a civil case.
