  1. If it gets turned over to collections, it will show up on your credit file.  However, it is more likely to get reported to ChexSystem and you will have trouble getting another bank account.  Get it settled right away.


  2. by overdrawing your account it is not an issue of it being recorded on your credit ever as my times as you do it doesn't matter....SO long as you resolve the issue..aka pay it back within a timely manner. The only time this issue could affect your actual credit rate is if you refuse to pay the overdraft (and fees that apply) and allow enough time to pass for the institution to send your unpaid debt to collections, it is only then that the issue is on your credit report reflecting bad credit. If you are an indivual who just happens to overdraw a lot, this is never a problem so long as you pay all the debt back!

  3. Yes, anytime you overdraw your account either by check or ATM withdrawl you run that risk. Get it straightened out quickly with the bank
