Can a beta hcG blood test detect pregnancy 9 days before expected period?

It would show a day after conception (implantation of the egg into the uterus) So it all depends on when exactly conception took place.  This can happen 6-12 days from the time of fertilization of an egg but on average 8 days.  For example if you had s*x July 1st and that day the sperm meet the egg and then implanted 8 days later you could get blood tested on July 10th and it would prob show as pregnant.  Hope that makes sense.  I beleive a beta hcg result anything above 5 is considered pregnant but don't reference me on that becuase I can't quite remember for sure.
