  1. Sure right up until it get et or dies.


  2. It all depends on the species of bird to be honest.  For all it can be extremely difficult, others, impossible.  Birds of prey are one such group that it is near impssoible for.  Then again it all depends on the break and how much of the leg/toes/talons they can use.

    For the most part it is a case by case basis.

  3. It depends. When my family went to Florida on vacation, there were some very healthy pelicans who had feet missing/deformed feet either from careless fishermen or from natural causes.

  5. There is no how long.  If it has a food source and does not get eaten then it could survive until it dies of age.  this question has no answer like it or not.
