Can a bmx flatground bike be used as a dirt jump bike also?

I have the specialized fuse 2 and its for dirt jumping but i use it for street also... if i customized my specialized w/ a new frame and a few new parts that are for flatground, could i use it for jumps still?

The frame geometry used for street and dirt bikes are almost identical these days.

The only big difference for a dirt jumping bike will be that it won't have front brakes, but thats about it.

I use my felt manic (street) for just about everything, and it works great.
