no, way.  they are used for 2 seperate things.  skim boarding takes a little practice so keep trying.  The key is finding the right depth of water and throwing the better ahead of you.

I wouldn't try it.

You can get a pretty good cheap skimboard for 30-40 bucks, I would go with that.

Plus, you're probably going to get your board pretty wrecked on rocks so it's good to have a cheap one.

it can be but you wont be very good.  body boards r different then   skim boards because the curve upward and skim board arent made out of foam

you could also get the bottom wrecked from riding on the rocky and grainy sand

it could but it probally wont work to well and plus its not ment for skimboarding so you might get hurt and thats never good
