  1. yes boy and newborns can get the infection, yeast can come from the food they eat and there p**p!!

you may need more than a nappy cream for it to go, but there are over the counter medicines that can treat yeast, but if that dont work go to doc.

just change nappy more regular and let them air for a few minutes before putting the nappy back on, antibotics can help but can also cause more yeast! hope this helps.

  2. Yep boys can get yeast infections. Infants most often get it from antibiotics or heat and moisture.

My son had one. It was red and bumpy. The skin around his p***s also looked a little gauzy. I call his pediatrician and they called in a topical medication and it was gone within days.

  3. Yes, boys get yeast infections on their tushy and on their p***s.  It looks like a diaper rash.  My son had both a diaper rash and a yeast infection.  All I did was get an over the counter fungal cream and every time I changed his diaper I applied a really light layer and then put the rash cream on top.  Our pediatrician said that if it's been red and moist and warm for a day or two that there's most likely yeast, too.  You're not going to hurt your boy by applying the fungal cream.  It cleared my son's bottom up within 2 days.

  4. Yes, they most certainly can.

A lot of diaper rashes are of the yeast variety, as is the rash that they sometimes get on their chin/under their neck when they start drooling.

Contact your doctor-there is a Rx cream that will quickly clear it up.
