Can a can of paint hold up a vehicle?

It's a Ford Ranger 1998. I need the can of paint to hold the car after i removed the tire, for like 30 min until i go guy a bigger jack.

  1. If it's full and you use something flat to even out the pressure, then maybe.  Otherwise, probably not.


  2. no. that does not sound like a good idea...think of how much a car weighs, it would be like crushing a pop can

    Get a jack stand.  They cost about $20 at sears.

  6. Real good way to loose a limb and mess up the truck in the process.

  7. No, this is how people get hurt. Go buy a set of small jackstands and whatever jack you need. Its just not worht the risk of droping that vehicle on yourself.
