Question:

Can a car accident inspire love?

I was recently in a car accident with a friend of mine from high school, and after seeing her in such a state of hysteria and panic I find myself strangely attached and even somewhat infatuated. Is this normal? I wanted to see if something traumatic could inspire love and searched for literature on the subject; I found nothing but a book called "The Love Trauma Syndrome" which is completely unrelated in which it deals with emotional scarring rather than a strange infatuation being brought upon by seeing someone so vulnerable. My question exactly is this: Is there a name for what I'm describing? Links or titles of books would be greatly appreciated; I'm rather curious about all this.

  1. Seeing someone in their most vulnerable state can easily draw you to them.  I'm not sure if it's a species survival instinct or a clarification that you two would work.  Tell her how you feel and see what happens.

  2. its normal
