Not sure why you would want to leave car running.If it's a stick shift..sure...tow it.If it's an automatic...you'll want to tow it with the drive wheels off the ground to prevent auto trans damage (frt wheel drive car...tow with frt wheels off the ground,rear wheel drive...tow with rear wheels off the ground).All wheel drive or 4wd...use a roll back.
