Question:

Can a car with a manual transmission give you shin splints?

I recently started driving a car with a clutch. Yesterday, I drove for at least 2 hours in it throughout town and on the freeway. This morning, I woke up and my left shin (the leg I use for the clutch) is killing me. My right leg's perfectly normal. Now, I do gymnastics, so maybe that's what's causing the pain...but I kind of doubt it.

So do you think my left shin's pain is caused by the clutch? And will driving the car more often make my left leg more used to the clutch?

  1. It's more like the gymnastic and not a clutch unless you have never exercised that leg . If it is it will get better as time goes on . Good luck and have a great day .
