  1. it is unhealthy to do this because their bodies are meant to eat meat, meaning it is their main source of nutrients.it just wouldn't be natural to force a herbivore diet on them. also some animals dont have digestive systems designed for plant digest. so it might cause health problems and they might also be nutritionally deprived. even though im a vegetarian i dont believe its good to do this to a carnivore animal.

  2. only from birth. like when a tiger is very young it can be taught a certain way. but I dont think they could last long because those animals are naturally meat eaters.

  3. Carnivores kill for meat for a reason. I would think it would take a shitload of suppliments for a carnivore to get all of its nutrition by just eating veggies.

  4. Haha! I wondered that. I don't think so ae... I know you can buy vegan dog and cat foods and apparently they'll eat it because it tastes like meat. Who knows? If a carnivore was trained to be a herbivore, I doubt they would survive very long.

  5. It depends on the species.  Some animals, such as cats, are what is known as an obligate carnivore, meaning that there are vitamins and minerals that are a necessary part of that animal's diet that cannot be found in plant matter only meat.  Whereas some other carnivores, such as dogs, can live on a vegetarian diet but there diet must be strictly controlled and their health monitored to insure that they are receiving all of their nutritional requirements.

  6. I don't think so. Maybe you can feed them only plant food. But I find it hard to believe they won't eat meat if they have it right in front of them.
