Can a case get thrown out, or dropped, if the police report has the wrong gender listed?

The report says 'M' for the s*x when the person is very clearly 'F'

  1. US Supreme Court stated that a warrant that has simple flaws and not major ones where it would affect the validity of the warrant are admissible.  This is basically just a clerical area and not a major flaw.  Sorry...


  2. It's not going to be dropped for that reason.

    A police report is really little more than a tool for the witnessing officer to refresh his memory, in the event he is required to testify.  You'll find this out if you decide to take this case to trial.

  3. Highly unlikely.  The police can simply amended the report. It really is no big deal.

    You're just going to have to take your licks, Johnny.  And keep your nose clean from now on.
