Can a cat have a fake pregnacy and what are the signs? i think my cat may have one. so scared

my cat isis looks pregnet but in a way also doesn't show some the sings, she is fat only in her stomach, she DID get out a while ago, She is acting funny, She is more loveing and sleepy.

Yes, it happens, but it's rare.  It's more common in dogs than in cats.  

The signs are basically the same signs as pregnancy, except no kittens.  Her nipples get bigger and pinker, her abdomen gets larger (but not lumpy), she can even produce milk.  

I'd get her to a vet, there are other things that can make them bloated too so that needs to be checked.  

But if she's not spayed and she got out then there's a good chance she's actually pregnant.

There are two possible causes for false pregnancy in cats. One is, she releases eggs without apparent reason. Second, she mated with a neutered male, and the mating caused her to release eggs. As a result she undergoes hormonal changes that make her look like she’s pregnant. She can even gain weight!

but if i were u i would take her th the vet just to make sure there was no other reason to why she is gaining weight
