  1. Yes it is possible but not likely to have one kitten that is born as still birth and still carry others to term without the assistance of a Vet. It is highly reccomended that you take your pet to a Vet if you have a still birth, the vet can assist your animal in continuing to give birth if necessary or aid the cat with conditions that may have caused the loss of the newborn early. If you choose to not contact a vet you should restrict the animals access to other animals right now and also keep an eye on your pet for symptoms of discomfort as well as differences in activities, such as increase or decrease in number of stools or urination, changes in color or texture, and changes in either eating or drinking habits, if you notice any differences in these areas, contact a vet.

  2. Yes, this means that a kitten was stillborn. It happens, make sure you see a vet before and after the pregnancy. This usually happens without any problems, meaning it just happens. The rest should be fine if you take care of them properly. Make sure they all get vaccinated so that they have the best chance of living.

  3. Some can live, some can die, they can even be 24 hours age difference (cats can have many partners when they are in heat).

If a kitten was born dead, that would be a really big reason for vet visit.  If there are other kittens that are not alive inside mom, she could be in danger of infection.  Mom cats seem to have more control over their pregnancies than other pets, but they need our help when bad things happen.

  4. yes it's called a stillbirth
