  1. I personally don't think so, but your question is brilliant. Like can whales jawn, my son ask that. I think an animal brain is easier than ours so they don't have do deal with those precise problems.

  2. I Think So.

  3. Yeah and my cat dresses to the left! ;)

  4. Cats and dogs do exhibit paw preference.  Several surveys have already been carried out on cats to test this theory.  In one survey of 48 cats carried out over a 10 week period, 46% showed a preference for using the right paw, 44% favoured their left paw, whilst 10% used both paws equally.  See the link below for more details of this study.

For anyone interested in testing this out on their own cat, the link below has a few simple tests.

  5. Yes, they can have a preference with which paw they like to play with more. [= my cat, cici, uses her right paw more when playing with her mouse.

  6. I would presume so. Most horses are "left legged" that is they paw the ground more with the left than the right and most are easier to ride on a left circle than a right. This may be due to the fact that we handle horses more from the left -interesting question though!

  7. Who knows my I won't ever know my  dog doesn't use any paws only her teeth as she shreds the ball.

  8. They sure can.
