  1. no his parents are legally responsible for him until he is 18

  2. No, it is illegal for his parents to do that.  The law is simple and comes in 2 parts:

    1. You must be 18 for your parents to legally kick you out and you also

    2. Must have atleast 30 days (court approved) notice that you are losing your residence.

  3. are you sure he is actually getting "kicked out?" maybe he is just using that as an excuse..

  4. Probably not. Your parents should contact the authorities next time it happens.

  5. It is only legal if he has been emancipated or dropped out of high school... at least that is the way it is in TN.  If he is still in high school/middle school and under age 18 then no, it is not legal

  6. No. No one should be forced out until they are AT LEAST 18. My cousin lives with me so I know all the laws on this. He can't 'move' out til he is 18. Also it depends on his case, if he is like my cousin then no and make sure you know the WHOLE story before you contact the authorities or the Department of Children and Families.

  7. it is not legal to kick a child out of your home unless they are 18 years of age.

  8. it can happen with irresponsible parents and a disrespectful (not saying he/she is) child. But i don't know if it is legal or not

  9. honestly if it was happening to me i would just go to the cops and say hey im this age and my parents continuously kick me out and i just want to be out for good what an i do tell your friend just make it a permanent move and get himself some help

  10. No it isn't legal at all, it is actually considered neglect and abuse to do that because until 18 his parents are responsible for him.
