Can a civic pull a 4 x 8 uhaul trailer?

I need to move a desk and office chair about 50 miles. Could my '88 civic pull them in a 4x8 uhaul trailer, or would that damage the car? 1.5 liter engine. There is no major uphill driving.

i dont think i would try it, especially with that little car.

I would not recommend that.The transmission is not made for pulling on this car.Is it front wheel drive ? Then no.
