Can a class D driver, drive a truck with a weight of 26,000 Lb. max drive in the state of illinois?

Do you necessarity need a commercial drivers license to drive a truck in the state of Illinois or can you drive with a class D???

  1. You can if you are renting a truck. If you are driving the truck on a daily baisis for work or something then you will need a class C non CDL


  2. never heard of a class D license but you need a cdl if the truck is over 26001 LB I would get a CDL just to be safe
