Can a clearblue digital test give you a false positive????

Question

I did a clearblue digital test last night and one this morning and they both say that im pregnant but i had a blood test on friday friday and that was negative.

I have had another blood test done today i will get reults tomorrow what are the chances that i am actually pregnant now??? will it now show in my blood that i am pregnant???

false negatives are common, false positives are not.

i think you're definitely cheggers.

I think your pregnant first time i was pregnant i used clearblue tests and the doctor didn't bother doing any other tests because they said its the same test they use so congrats x

The blood test was too early to pick up the hormone. Go back to get re-tested. Take the home tests with you in a ziplock bag. Blood tests are about 4 times more sensitive than Clearblue, so if you're showing pregnant on those, you'll show pregnant on your blood test.

Congrats! Just curious, how long did you "try" or was this kind of an "accident"? This is our first month of "trying" so I'm just curious.

maybe your levels were not high enough to register on friday or they didn't wait the whole 5 minutes before giving you test results to you.  it is very rare to get a false positive especially 2 of them so i would say you are pregnant.  congratulations

sounds to me like you are! hcg levels (pregnancy hormone) rise everyday so its a BIG possibility! with my 2nd child i done 2  tests one said yes the other no!! went to the hospital for blood tests which said no 3 days later went back for more, my hcg levels were higher 2nd blood test meaning baby number 2 was on the way!! hope this helps. good luck whatever the outcome hope you get the answer you want x
