Can a closed bank account be resserached...

by the goverment?

i live in il. i had a checking account and a credit card both from a large bank. is it possible for the government to access this info if the account is closed?

yea they can investigate it if they have a warrant those are permanent records

The Government as in the IRS, yes. They would need a valid reason. Court ordered only
