I want to start drinking tea instead of coffee, but I don't want to have to buy a teamaker if I can use the coffeemaker that I already have. I'm just wondering if I can use the coffeemaker to make tea. TIA

  1. Yes. Just pop loose tea in instead of coffee granules.

  2. it can, but it wont be as hot as tea usually is because coffee makers use water that doesnt reach boiling point.

  3. Sure,, if you have the regular drip coffee-maker,  just put teabags or loose leaves into the bin that's supposed to hold the coffee grinds.  If you use teabags, there's no need to put a filter but if you use loose leaves, then keep using the filter.  Make sure you leave the tea bag tags out of the bin.

  4. i do. just put a couple or 3 tea bags right into the pot and let hot water run into it. you can put loose leaf or herbal tea in a cofffee filter also. enjoy.

  5. yes, i do all the time

  6. Yes, but rinse the pot and basket very well or you will have a slight coffee flavor to your tea.

  7. yea it will work just fine

  8. the one u have is a grinder , u need a diver/dipper fr t its ur choice now, best to change once in a while , u wd not be bored

  9. yeah you can. they're basically the same thing, just used tea or tea bags instead of coffee.
