  1. You could easily be a teachers aid, tutor, or something like that. I have worked in AZ and CA schools. Aides are not paid that well but in depends on the state. AZ is about 8-9 per hr or maybe a little bit if Special Ed. CA is 12 per hr or over with college credits.

  2. You need to check with a school district you would like to work in and see if there are any openings and the qualification.  I started subbing 5 years ago with 60 credit hours in Business.  Now the district is requiring 100 credit hours in any degree.  I know people who work in the Special School District that have 60 or less credit hours.  You may also want to talk to the dept. head at your college and see if they have any connections.  Good Luck.  I have 3 years to go for my teaching degree.

  3. yeah you can be a teacher's aid. They get paid like minimum wage (sometime a bit more). In some places you can be a student teacher (which is like an internship or a workstudy) but it all depends on the school and the state you're in. Call around and check things out. Good luck.

  4. Check the requirements for where you live. In Missouri all you need is 60 hours to substitute teach. Granted thats not full time, but its money when they need you. Also you could apply at different schools even daycares could use extra help, especially in the mornings when parents are dropping off their kids

  5. You can definitely get a job as a teacher's aide, but it doesn't pay much. My cousin did it for a while and only made $9.00 per hour.

  6. after your BA you can go to school as an undergrad and TEACH a class at the same time, if youre smart enough. you have to be very well qualified. i know someone who went to notre dame for free as an undergrad and taught theere as well

  7. you have to have a certificate for being a teachers aid. dont over work yourself. finish the year and be patient. congrats on only having one more year though.
