  1. absolutely not and the things people claim to expel are actually just the drink itself.  dont let them fool you out of your hard earned money.

  2. Unfortunately no. Nothing dietary will help with acne. Not cutting out fast food, having more water, none of that affects skin.

Colon cleanses don't do anything either. Toxins do not build up in your body. Heavy metals build up but there is nothing you can do about that. Nothing is even absorbed through you colon except water, sodium, vitamin K and short chain fatty acids (made from the colonic bacteria to keep your colon cells healthy and fuel them). Look up an anatomy book and see what your colon does, and you will understand that cleansing really wont help.

It is not your fault you have acne. It is not what you eat, and probably not anything you are doing wrong. It is just your genes.

A dermatologist can help. There are some medications but just be aware they have some pretty nasty side effects you need to investigate. You doctor may even have some info on this, or some medicated face washes.

  3. No.

  4. Yes, this is the protocol in the book 'Cure your acne in 3 days', alongside an apple/water fast.

Colon cleanse is helpful if your acne is caused by candida overgrowth. DIM/Di-Indole -Methane supplement is good for hormonal acne, 100 - 400mg per day

    Hope this helps.

  5. Yes, it can.  It can also make it tons worse in the short term, as the accumulated toxins and guck are trying to exit your system.  It's sort of like stirring up a very mucky pond, and expecting clear water from the start.  Don't.

  6. My doctor/dermatologist told me that it can clear up acne.  Think about all the toxicins in your body when you haven't "cleaned" yourself out?  All that toxic waste can interfere with other parts of your body.  My suggestion would be to drink lots of water, eat fruits and veggies, and go to the bathroom regularly.  Also, taking care of your skin is important too.  Cleansing and moisturizing your skin one to two times a day is vital in keeping a clear complection.

  7. Yes, cleaning up your insides will do a lot towards clearing up the skin, in fact, after reading about the colonix cleanse and its affect on acne on the net and me trying it, my 16 year old son asked me to get him on the cleanse for his cystic acne. It was easy, it was gentle, and let me tell you, what comes out is quite a shock, but the way I see it, better out than in!

The skin is considered the largest organ of the body and its also the largest detoxifying organ in the body next to the liver. What the liver cannot handle, the skin takes over. If the liver is overburdened, it won't work as well and more toxins accumulate.

Check out www.drnatura.com. Read the testimonials. I also made sure I got probiotics too to replentish the 3-5 lbs of them that our gastro-intestinal track is suppose to be loaded with which is a major part of our immune system.

Yes, our bodies do accumulate toxins at a rate faster than our natural cleansing organs such as our skin and our liver, colon etc can process them. Then these organs get sluggish about what they do process through, so with the help of tried and true herbs, fiber and suppliments, plus probiotics, we can restrore the balance needed and remove the excess toxins before serious illness and disease set in.

This stuff isn't taught in medical school and there aren't many professionals out there that will agree with this. However, I have been involved in and studied natural remedies, herbalism, aromatherapy, along with many other holistic methods and I am a certified Reiki Master/Teacher and  Yoga Instructor. What I've written is known only in certain circles, however, if you look for it the information is out there.

There are several things a person can take for heavy metals as well. Calcium bentonite clay, diatomaceaou earth, and another mineral suppliment I think called EDTA will absorb and adsorb heavy metals such as mercury from the system. Shortly, I plan to do the cleanse listed above again, then follow with a program of the clay and the DE to address high mercury levels in my body from vaccinations and fillings.

Kevin Trudeau's book, "More of what they don't want you to know about", Brenda Watsons, H.O.P.E. Formula book, and her "Gut Solutions(?)" book are all wonderful sources to learn more about this stuff.

As far as the cleanses go, I have tried a few, the Colonix from Dr. Natura is the only one I know of and tried that did what it claims to do.

  8. Try and time will tell. You can't do any damage by testing it.
