Can a color blind person become an air craft engineer?

One of my friends is color blind and he wants to be an air craft engineer. He wants to know if he start wearing color correction glasses will he be able to become an air craft engineer.

There are no glasses that will correct colour blindness.

Your friend should call the college that offers the air craft engineering course and ask if his colour blindness will interfere with licensing or getting hired.  They will know the answer.

my boyfriend is color blind and he was able to get his commercial drivers license. depending on the extent of his colorblindness i am sure he can wing it, you can miss up to 6 ( i believe)on the ishihara color test    tell him to try at his next eye exam to see if he can pass it, it is a pretty easy test to wing it with.
