  1. its a  flash memory disk drive in effect so can be used for any files.

    but beware CF are old technology now and compared to the SD are slower, larger and have lower capacity.  to ensure continued compatibility it may be worth keeping to SD based media or Memory Stick.

    as few devices are built for CD drives now.
