The Company That I'm Working For Says That The Position I Hold Is Not Genarating Money They Told Me To Resing Tommorrow, Can They Do This What Should I Do (South Africa)

  1. Depends on where you live. Some states are "Right To Work" states. Meaning they can fire you at anytime for any reason.

I don't know if local law affects this or not, so you may want to check with a local legal professional if you have further questions: a company generally gives this option to a person as a way of allowing them to resign and step away with no commotion as opposed to being fired... in most instances no, the company cannot "force" the resignation, but if you don't make the choice the choice is often made for you, keeping in mind that often a resignation is easier to explain in your next job interview than being fired .. hope all works out well for you .
