Question:

Can a company get my age though my SSN?

So my friend and I have been working at a local branch of a nation wide chain for a little while now. The company has rules about the age of it's employees. I am of legal age. However, my friend is not. The branch manger is aware of both of our ages, and hired us. But starting now, all payroll is processed through the corporate office. Corporate is taking down out information and wants our SSN's (probably for tax filing and such). But my question is, while filing all this stuff, will they be able to see his age? Can they look that up from your social security number? I know it's probably wrong that he works there against corporate rules, but is he screwed or what? Thanks!

  1. With you ss#, someone can find literally EVERYTHING about you. Yes, corporate needs your ss # for income reporting/payroll purposes. You have to assume that they won't use it inappropriately. Odds are, they won't
