  1. Unfortunately, yes. I had this happen to me years ago but eventually I had it removed from my credit report.

  2. You bet if your amancipated then its fully your resposbitlity but the legal reposiblity falls on whom ever signhs and if they can't get you they will get realitve or thing you own

  3. That signature of yours is a powerful thing, use it wisely, Luke, or you'll be without the force.

  4. Yes, u are responsible, if you sighed.  get off the card merry go round now, or later your life will be a big  mess in the money dept...

  5. yes...your signature on the application is all the evidence they need.  Did anyone co sign??

  6. I don't understand how, a company cannot enter into a contract with a minor.  A cardholder agreement is , in effect, a contract.   Even banks won't open an account for a minor without a parent cosigning.

  7. If you signed it, yes they can. And if they can't get you...your parents are next in line.

  8. hey jon,

don't be stupid man, you are starting out your life like this?

You want to buy things, sign (promise) that you will pay them, and then you won't? And you don't even plan to?

That's straight out stealing, makes no difference if it's from creditors, rich, good, evil people, you are a thief. And you are not even 18!

Only buy smart hard honest work will you get ahead.

If you start thinking like this now, you are done for.

  9. Written law where I live is no company can engage in any contract with persons under 18. You might want to check into it. d**n creditors anyways!!

  10. No they can't ..they shouldn't have extended credit to a minor in the first place. They can nabb your parents though.

  11. yes sir.
