    parole, restitution etc.

  4. the register as a democrat is a silly and vindictive answer.

    In most states once an individual has served there sentence to society, those civil rights are restored.  This is much to the chagrin of many narrow minded and hateful people.  But, like it has been said:  " Let him that is without sin, cast the first stone!"  

    After all the purpose of prisons / reformatories is to correct abhorant behavior and to turn the lives of those individual around to be a productive and useful members of society.
