Can a cop call your parents if...

if they saw a boy that looked around 16 and a girl around the same age doing nothing but sitting outside on the sidewalk or somewhere like a bus stop at like 1 in the morning?

Nope, why would the police officer call the parents for? But in the first place before they can call the parents the police officer must know exactly who this girl and boy is, correct? They cannot just call anybody parents unless they know who the kids are. Now by knowing them the police must talk to these boy and girl.

AS YOU SAID, they were doing nothing just sitting outside on the sidewalk or in a bus stop then I think the police has no right to be alarm...yet but if the girl and boy is doing something nasty or having s*x then that is the best time to approach and bring them to the police station and THE RIGHT TIME TO CALL THEIR PARENTS, because there is absolutely enough reason to call them not just passing around the block and notice both girl and boy and just sitting in the pavement and approach them and call their parents.

THESE POLICE OFFICER CAN JUST TELL THE KIDS "its already morning kids, go home...." simple isn't it, why make matters more complicated than it should be?

My friend's sister was caught with her boyfriend at a elementary school at 2:00AM and they called her parents...

Yes for loitering. Suspicion,

They can check to see if they are aware if they know where you are. Its for your own safety.

You will find out when you have a 16 year old daughter.

Try to think what you would do if you were your own mother.

Would you want her out at 1am on a bench?

well it mainly depends on where you are cuz in some towns have a time when kids have to be in but if ur not a minor you can pretty much do w.e. you want without the cops calling your parents... well thats waht i know in my town
