Can a cordless phone work without a charger?

Im wanting a cordless phone, but where im aiming to use it, it doesnt have a wall socket nearby, so wandered if anyone knew whether it was possible to get a phone working without the charger been connected all the time, and also whether you could run one from a solar charger

  1. The phone wirelessly connects to the base. The base needs to be on at all times. But if your phone set has satellite charging stations that aren't attached to a wired phone line, the charging stations do not have to be on. Your cordless phones will eventually run out of power, but you can swap them out on the base to charge.

  3. yes once it's charged you are able to use the phone.

  4. It can work as long as it has enough battery power. The fully charge battery can be used for at least 2 days. After that, you should bring the handset to its base to charge.

  5. well some cordlesses you need to charge but they'll lst a very long time... however you cannot take them out of range I'd say about ten metres away from the reciever... I would know... I work with phones & have 4 cordlesses...
