Question:

Can a corn snake and a milk snake live together?

The corn is 12 years old and the milk is couple months old, I know not now but when the milk gets older.

  1. the 12 year old will probably eat the baby.  corns dont usually eat other snakes but it can happen.  if by some miracle the corn doesnt eat the baby milk the milksnake will more than likely eat the corn when it gets bigger.


  2. it's never a good idea to house two snakes together, especially of different species. disease, competition for the best spots, disease transfer, etc. the milk will be fine in a ten gallon for a couple of years, you should spend the extra 20 bucks for a new tank and lid.

  3. I highly recommend you get another corn snake.  Milksnake (same family as kingsnakes) will eat your corn snake.  A ratsnake might harm him also.  Definitely stick with a corn snake. And if you get one of each s*x you can even breed them since they are easy to breed. Good luck.
